Our company participated in the construction of a new generation parking house in Prague 13 - Nové Butovice. Specifically, it was the delivery and installation of the outher shell of the parking house made of aluminium slats, as well as aluminium glazed structures around the staircase and elevator shaft.

At the outset, it was necessary to translate the architect's ideas into a project in which the idea was combined with a satisfactory technical solution and cost optimisation. Our design department, which specialises in lightweight curtain walling, proposed several solution options. The selected ones were then selected in consultation with the architects.

In our opinion, the chosen technical solution fully met the expectations of the architects and the investor.

The actual implementation started in September 2022 and was completed in March 2023. A total of 40 tonnes of object-designed aluminium alloy profile was used for the cladding. The profiles, with a construction depth of 150 mm, have a black anodic oxidation (anodising) finish.

The glazed aluminium structures around the staircase and the lift shaft ensure the safety and protection of the visitors to the car park from the weather. They were manufactured and delivered during the completion phase of the construction.

The parking house in Nové Butovice provides 380 parking spaces. It will serve residents and drivers commuting to Prague for work or pleasure. It is a new-generation concept, providing not only comfortable parking but also charging stations for electric cars, sufficiently wide parking spaces and communication routes within the building.

The investor is the City of Prague, which is planning to build similar parking facilities within Prague. These large-capacity parking lots will not only reduce traffic intensity, but also lower emissions and noise.
