Banisters from glass and metal, quite common today, are also supplemented by staircases of less common designs exploiting the potential of modern technologies of glass and metal processing.
Lamination of hardened glass of virtually arbitrary composition and format enables its use for staircase steps or even as a beam of the actual staircase structure. Moreover, specially adapted glass can be applied as tread plates for floors and footbridges.
We design, manufacture and install the CLEARstep© staircase and floor structures from glass and metal. In this case, the glass panels perform the load-carrying function. Therefore, their compositional design is based on the specific order, particularly the dimensions and anchoring method. Priority is always given to the aspect of safety and provision of structural functionality for the period of its expected service life.
