Many people imagine an unsightly old-fashioned building as a home for the elderly, but this is certainly not the case with the Staříč Senior Citizens Home.
We had the opportunity to participate in the construction of this home for the elderly by implementing the facade cladding, glass railings and all-glass balcony screens. The subtle anchoring details of the all-glass structures co-create the modern and timeless architecture of the building envelope. Their design and the materials used - toughened safety glass in combination with coloured foils - are based on the modern technology of production and processing of building glass found in high-end housing projects.
