Work on the new Ostrava shooting range project is progressing successfully. Last week, we completed production of the large-format STŘELNICE logo, which will dominate the façade.

The logo is made of durable CORTEN STEEL, as are the decorative facade panels in front of the glass surfaces. The architect chose the same font used in the Ostrava city logo, so everything fits beautifully into the overall concept.

Weathering steel forms a stable layer of rust patina on its surface due to weather conditions, which acts as a protective film and prevents further deep corrosion. As a result, it does not require painting or regular maintenance.

Thanks to its protective patina, Corten steel lasts much longer than conventional structural steel exposed to the elements. It is therefore suitable for facades, sculptures, garden architecture, and urban elements.

Korten is popular thanks to its characteristic warm rusty appearance, which gradually changes over time.

Now all that remains is to wait for the logo to 'mature' and be installed on the facade of the new shooting range.
